From many voices, a shared conversation
A new space for the stories, ideas and people shaping Progressive Jewish life in Britain.
Welcome to The Progressive Jewish Voice. We are building an independent space for news, culture and conversation from Progressive Jewish Britain.
Our focus is the life of our communities: the people who make them welcoming, the questions that keep them learning and the stories that deserve a wider audience.
We intend to cover Liberal and Reform Jewish life across the UK, bringing together community reporting, interviews, cultural features and clearly labelled opinion. We want to hear from established members, people exploring Judaism, younger voices and those who have not yet found a community.
This is our first edition. The example features on the homepage illustrate the kind of coverage we hope to develop; they are not reports of actual events.
Our aim is simple: thoughtful reporting, room for disagreement and a sense of connection. Thank you for being here.
